Pop-punk Wrexham outfit Neck Deep are back with their new album ‘All Distortions Are Intentional’, a follow up to ‘Peace and the Panic’ which was a huge success for the band.
‘All Distortions Are Intentional’, shows a clear change of direction for the band. Opening with ‘Sonderland’ and stepping into a new dystopian dimension, the band take their fans on a journey, involving two lead characters, Jett and Alice. Together, they deal with issues such as, love, loss, disillusionment and despair. This track sets the tone of an album that tells a story about an exaggerated society inhabited.
Painting ‘Sonderland’ as a bright place, despite the negative meaning behind it, it showcases the bands talents perfectly as we skip along with them on this new adventure. Front man, Ben Barlow’s vocals on this song are excellent, he shows-off his versatility with the different pitches and tones used.
‘All Distortions Are Intentional’ is a perfect touring album, along with their older tunes – it will set out the perfect set list with a huge variety of genres; heavy, slow, emotional, you name it and Neck Deep will give you it. It’s also a fantastic, bright, pop-punk album. With great sing-a-long, feel good tunes and one’s where you’ll lose your mate in a mosh pit to.
Neck Deep are set to tour the U.K in March/April where they will play in some major cities across the country.
